November 1 - Courage
God has blessed us with the awesome privilege of parenting His children. With that privilege comes incredible responsibility. We cannot raise our children alone. We must give our children back to God. What better way to discover the joy of being part of God's plan for our children than by lifting them to the Father through prayer. Whether your child is an infant or an adult, it is never too late to claim God's blessings and promises for them. All scripture is God-breathed. We lift our breath to you, God, as we pray:
Lord, may my child be strong and courageous because you are his leader. Joshua 1:6

Prayful Parents
Dear Prayerful Parents,
God laid an idea on my heart. Our kids face such battles growing up. Whether they are infants, teens or adults; they have to make decisions without us. I certainly feel better about my children when I have lifted them in prayer. I want to pray even more for my children, and I am sure that others do as well. What if there was a calendar that parents could use each month to pray scriptures for their children? What if those verses came to each parent in such a way that they could stop and pray for their child? What if we used technology we already have to accomplish this purpose?
I have set up a list serve of names. You get to be the testers of this pilot. I have made a prayer calendar and set up the verses to come to you each day. If this proves helpful in your prayer life, let me know. If this just bottles up your inbox, let me know. I fought God on this idea, but He always wins. If this doesn't work for you, feel free to unsubscribe at any time. If this is helpful and you want others to share in prayer, please forward this along. I honestly want your suggestions and comments along the way as we try this journey.
